Welcome to Assessment & Communication

Using words, numbers, and imagery, the Assessment and Communication Department helps users, staff, and stakeholders understand the Library and its environment.  The department’s focus is two-fold: first to collect and analyze data about the Library’s performance so as to provide evidence and context for priority-setting and decision-making.  Second, to raise the Library’s visibility by promoting its collections, programs, services, and expert staff to multiple audiences both on- and off-campus.

We are a common service unit serving all of CUL.  Every unit and department can view the specialists in A&C as the extension of its staff.
